The Child Angel Series
THE PARTING: love protects and guides us
My friend had a child who died. She was tormented with one eternal question. Where did my baby go? In quietness I retreated to a sanctuary of peace in which I could ask such a hard question. I asked and this painting is the reply. The child is being lead through a tunnel that we have defined as death because we do not see the other end. For this child it is a birth canal. On the way there, her angel explains to her that the place she is traveling to will be different in some way - the laws of gravity may not exist, as dolphin swim through the air, but the child is also being reassured that the laws of compassion, protection, family spirit, safety - these laws are held intact. The child will be ok. My angels, the wolves, wish her a safe journey.
