Later in life, children grow to hear that they should not or cannot attain their dreams. After a while, they put those great aspirations on hold until they are nearly forgotten. When one has the great fortune to meet a soul mate, suddenly those childhood dreams rise to the surface and this new friend provides a safe space of support in which those dreams can continue to grow.
